An analysis of preschool education practices in various countries reveals that educators are also divided in their assessment of their role in raising children. Some experts consider preschool age as a golden time for the child's play and development, where first of all the emphasis is on caring for the child and his emotional support. Others emphasize that preschool age represents the first level of formal (school) education, where the educator is a teacher, not a caregiver.
